Dr. Jessica Rubin

Reproductive Endocrinologist

Jessica R. Rubin, MD MSCI, returned to her hometown of Atlanta to join the RBA team of physicians in 2018. She received her B.S. degrees in Science, Technology and Society as well as Hispanic Studies at Vassar College. Dr. Rubin earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Motivated by her interest in women’s health, she completed a four-year residency at Emory University and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her residency training reinforced her passion for helping couples with reproductive struggles.

Dr. Rubin’s primary clinical interests include fertility preservation, in vitro fertilization, polycystic ovarian syndrome, third party reproduction, and diminished ovarian reserve. Additionally, Dr. Rubin focuses on fertility preservation for women before and after cancer therapy. She is a passionate patient advocate who is dedicated to providing a high-quality, individualized approach to fertility medicine.

  • Dr. Rubin is board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Rubin completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Baylor College of Medicine. During her fellowship, Dr. Rubin trained in ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization, fibroid management, endometriosis treatment, and endoscopic surgeries (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy). She also performed high quality translational research investigating the role of in vitro fertilization protocols on embryo growth and reproductive success. Furthermore, during her training at Baylor, she earned her Masters in Clinical Science Investigation (MSCI).
    Dr. Rubin is an active member of several medical organizations, including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology Society.

  • Dr. Rubin received numerous awards for her scholastic achievements, research endeavors, and dedication to teaching. During her residency, she earned the Golden Apple Teaching Award each year of training. Throughout her residency and fellowship, she published papers in peer reviewed medical journals and presented both oral and poster presentations at several national meetings. Her research focused on vitamin supplementation during fertility treatment, the impact of embryo culture environment on reproductive success, and the genetic testing of embryos. In addition, Dr. Rubin co-authored book chapters on fertility preservation techniques for cancer patients.
